At OutMatch, staying connected and giving back to our communities is very important to us. The OutMatch team is dedicated to making a difference; helping both individuals and communities by volunteering our time and financial contributions throughout the year.

During Q1, we focused our efforts on supporting underprivileged youth in our local communities of Dallas, Texas and Saratoga Springs, New York. In Dallas, we partnered with the Heart House, a non-profit organization that provides safety, education and opportunity to refugee and underprivileged children. In Saratoga, our efforts supported CAPTAIN Youth and Family Services, an organization that helps empower young people, adults and families in their journey to personal growth and self-sufficiency.

Our Social Mission team organized a series of company events to raise funds and collect Wish List items for the children at both of the organizations. Perhaps the most memorable event was the “OutMatch Leadership Fashion Show”, in which our executive leadership team members volunteered to participate as “models”. Employees purchased raffle tickets for the opportunity to “style” (embarrass) the leader of their choice. Our stylists did a fantastic job and, as a result, we were able to see our leaders strut their stuff down the aisle dressed as M.C. Hammer, Britney Spears, and Rapunzel (to name just a few). The Fashion Show, enabled us to raise over $400 dollars and a TON of Wish List items.  As you can see, we also like to have a little bit of fun here at OutMatch.

Employees also volunteered their time on two occasions, where they helped children, ages 5-14, with homework and activities during the Heart House’s after school program. The opportunity not only made an impact on the children at the Heart House, but also was a very rewarding experience for those who were able to volunteer.

We are dedicated to helping enrich the lives of others and look forward to sharing additional updates on our ongoing Social Mission efforts.
