OutMatch Chief Analytics Officer Carol Jenkins explores gender differences in leadership and offers insight on using natural strengths as a female leader
OutMatch, a leader in helping organizations match the right people with the right jobs, announced today that Chief Analytics Officer Carol Jenkins, Ph.D. was selected to deliver a featured presentation at The Main Event, a women’s leadership conference presented by Pinnacle, one of the nation’s largest multifamily property management companies. The third annual event is being held April 24 to 26 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The presentation by Jenkins, entitled “Gender Differences in Leadership: Leveraging Your Natural Strengths as a Woman Leader,” shared insight on how women can harness certain traits and qualities to excel as leaders. Based on research conducted by OutMatch into critical competencies that make leaders successful, she explained that while men and women are virtually identical in most working traits, there are also some differences. Women score higher on assessments measuring multi-tasking, and they tend to display relating traits showing warmth, which can be leveraged for relationship building, coaching and teamwork.
“It is a pleasure to be invited by Pinnacle to participate and present at The Main Event,” said Jenkins. “This conference provides a wonderful opportunity for women to come together to network, to learn about a variety of timely topics, and to share experiences that will further enhance our professional careers.”
