Saratoga Springs software firm assists companies with hiring, promoting personnel, a Saratoga Springs software company that helps companies identify and screen job candidates and help find the right people to promote, has been renamed OutMatch in the wake of its recent merger with Dallas-based Assess Systems.

The August merger was orchestrated by Trident Capital of Palo Alto, Calif., which committed $38.5 million to creating the new company. The investment was the largest venture capital investment in the region last year.
